Privacy Policy
How ADLN collects, uses and protects personal information.
Last updated: November 2026. This page explains how the African Digital Leaders Network (ADLN) approaches this topic. It will be updated as the network and its services develop.
Information we collect
We collect information you give us through our forms, such as your name, email address, phone number, country, professional details and message. When member accounts open, we will also hold your profile and membership information. Our website may record technical information such as IP address and browser type for security and performance.
How we use information
- To respond to enquiries and registrations of interest.
- To send ADLN updates when you have asked to receive them.
- To manage memberships, profiles and community activity once available.
- To protect the website and prevent spam or misuse.
Sharing information
We do not sell personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us run the website, deliver email or process payments, or where the law requires it. Once registration opens, these will include Selar for membership payments and Zapier for confirming those sales.
Public profiles
Members will control which profile information is public. Contact details, payment records and account credentials are not shown in the public directory.
Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export or delete your information, and to object to certain uses. You can unsubscribe from updates at any time. Contact us through the contact page to make a request.
Retention and security
We keep information only as long as needed for these purposes or to meet legal obligations, and we use reasonable safeguards to protect it. No online service can be guaranteed completely secure.
International transfers
Because ADLN serves an international community, information may be processed in countries other than your own.
