Payment and Refund Policy
How ADLN will handle membership payments, failed payments and refunds.
Last updated: November 2026. This page explains how the African Digital Leaders Network (ADLN) approaches this topic. It will be updated as the network and its services develop.
Scope
This policy applies to ADLN membership payments and other explicitly authorized ADLN transactions. African Digital Conference tickets are separate and follow their own terms.
Payment verification
ADLN takes membership payments through Selar, which processes them at its own checkout. A membership is activated only after the sale recorded by Selar has been matched to your account, either automatically or by the ADLN team checking Selar’s records. A browser redirect or a payment screenshot is not treated as confirmation.
Prices and currencies
Prices and available currencies will be shown clearly before you pay. Selar, your payment provider or your mobile network may apply their own charges or exchange rates.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, your membership will not be activated and you will be told how to try again.
Refunds
Refund eligibility and timelines will be published with the approved membership packages before registration opens. Refund status will be recorded against the original transaction.
Questions
For help with a payment, use the contact page and include your transaction reference. Do not send card details, PINs or passwords.
